Repairs & Restoration may include


  • Repairing and/or replacing worn and damaged fringes & Surging (all done by hand)

  • Repairing and/or reweaving portions of worn areas where the surface pile has been worn down;

  • Repairing and/or reweaving portions of the carpet and the underlying foundation where there are holes and tears

  • Moth damage

  • Repairing color run and fugitive dyes as well as fading, if possible

  • Over-dying restoration

  • Rebinding selvages to prevent fraying.
